All face-up monsters, except for Effect Monsters, are unaffected by other Spell effects.

Aqua / Effect

During either player's turn, when an effect of a "Penguin" monster is activated: Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Nopenguin" once per turn. If a card would be returned from the field to the hand by the effect of a "Penguin" card, banish it instead.

Beast / Tuner / Effect

For a Synchro Summon, you can substitute this card for any 1 "Nordic" Tuner. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordic Beast Gullinbursti" once per turn. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Nordic" monster from your hand. You can target 1 "Nordic" monster in your GY, except "Nordic Beast Gullinbursti"; add it to your hand.

Target 1 face-up monster you control and 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; the ATK of the first target becomes equal to the original ATK of the second target, until the end of this turn.

Equip only to an "Aesir" or "Nordic" monster. It gains 800 ATK. If this face-up card on the field is destroyed by a card effect: You can add 1 "Nordic Relic" card from your Deck to your hand.

Banish 1 "Aesir" or "Nordic" monster you control, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it, also during your 2nd End Phase after activation, return the monster you banished to activate this card to the field in face-up Attack Position.

Special Summon 1 "Nordic" monster from your Deck, but you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except "Aesir" monsters, while that monster is face-up on the field. You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Nordic" monster from your Deck to your hand, then shuffle 1 card from your hand into the Deck. You can only use 1 "Nordic Relic Hlidskjalf" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Target 1 face-up monster on the field that destroyed a monster by battle this turn; destroy it. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this card's activation.

Target 1 "Aesir" or "Nordic" monster you control; its ATK/DEF become double its original ATK/DEF, until the end of this turn, but it cannot attack your opponent directly this turn.

If you control an "Aesir" monster: You can negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent currently controls, until the end of this turn. You can Tribute 1 "Nordic" monster, then target 1 "Aesir" monster in your GY; Special Summon it. You can only use 1 "Nordic Relic Svalinn" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Warrior / Effect

If you control an "Aesir" or "Nordic" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Nordic Relic" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Nordic Smith Ivaldi" once per turn.

When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Recipe" card from your Deck or GY to your hand. Once per turn: You can place 1 Ritual Monster from your hand on the bottom of the Deck; draw 1 card. Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can target 2 cards in your GY, including a "Recipe" card; place them on the bottom of your Deck in any order, then draw 1 card. You can only activate 1 "Nouvelles Restaurant "At Table"" per turn.

Fairy / Effect

When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 LIGHT Fairy monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck. If "The Sanctuary in the Sky" is on the field, you can Special Summon 1 "Airknight Parshath" instead.

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Skull Guardian". You must also offer monsters whose total Level Stars equal 7 or more as a Tribute from the field or your hand.
